2021 ADEMS
Assembly District Delegates (ADD)
Assembly District Delegates (ADD) vote on behalf of their Assembly District constituents at California Democratic Party (CDP) Regional Meetings, and at the California Democratic Party Convention.
Those ADD who are also elected to serve as an Executive Board member are responsible for voting and representing their community at the semi-annual E-Board meetings. Executive Board members are also voting members at the Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP).
ADD serve 2-year terms, and are elected at Assembly Delegation Elections Meetings (ADEMs), in January of every odd-numbered year.
2021 ADEMs
The 2021 Assembly Delegation Elections Meetings will be held virtually this year.
Each Assembly District shall elect 7 self-identified females Assembly Delegates, and 7 self-identified other-than-female Assembly Delegates.
Assembly Delegates are elected by registered Democrats in each Assembly District. In order to vote in these elections, voters must register for a mail-in ballot. The deadline to request a ballot was January 11.
